“Hi, Mr. Finland!” (m/n) said cheerfully, staring at the small blond man.

“Hello, (m/n)!” said Finland. “What can I do for you?”

“Is Peter here?” (m/n) inquired. “ I want to play!”

“Mm....” Finland said thoughtfully. “He is, but he doesn’t want to be disturbed. He’s busy trying to become a country again. Maybe tomorrow?” (m/n) pouted.

“Oh, alright....” The little boy walked back down the path, humming to himself.

---Next Day---

(m/n) knocked on the door, and Mr. Sweden opened the door.

“Hi Mr. Sweden!” the (h/c) boy said. “Is Peter ready to play yet?” Mr. Sweden shook his head.

“H’s st’ll try’ng t’ b’c’me a c’untry.” (I’m sorry I don’t know how to do his accent) Mr. Sweden informed him. “M’be y’ should c’m back t’morr’w.” (m/n) sighed.

“I hope he’s ready to play soon, and stop trying to be a country....” (mn) turned around and walked back down the path, Mr. Sweden watching him go, a slight frown on his face.

---A week later---

“Hi (m/n)! What’s up?” shouted a voice as (m/n) prepared to knock on the door. The little boy looked up to see a spiky haired man leaning halfway out the window.

“Hi, Denmark!”

“Ah ah ah, kid!” Denmark complained.

“Sorry, King of Northern Europe!” (m/n) called. “Anyway, is Peter around, and ready to play?” Denmark shook his head.

“Not yet, sorry!” Denmark said after a moment. “Maybe next week! He’s got some sort of brilliant idea, and he’s been working on it non-stop! Anyway, you’ll never guess what I did last night with Prussia and America!” As Denmark babbled, (m/n) slowly walked down the path. Denmark watched him go, talking because he didn’t know what else to do.

---Three weeks later---

(m/n) stared up at the door. He hadn’t been here for a while, hoping that Peter would be ready to play. Maybe that Peter would call him. Nothing had happened, though, so (m/n) decided to visit Peter himself. He knocked on the door, and Iceland and Norway opened it.

“Hello, (m/n),” Norway said. He was holding a container of salimaki, most likely trying to get Iceland to call him big brother. “We haven’t seen you in while.” (m/n) shrugged.

“It seemed like Peter wanted to become a country more than he wanted to hang out with me, so I just thought I’d wait for him to call me or something before coming over. After a month, I thought I better just come over and see if he just had forgotten to call or something.” (m/n) explained. “Is he available?” Iceland shook his head.

“His original ideas didn’t work, so he came up with something new. It’s not going to work though. Brainwashing people is impossible.” The (h/c) eyed boy finally snapped.

“HE THINKS THAT TRYING BRAINWASH THE OTHER COUNTRIES IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ME?!?!?!” (m/n) shouted. Lucas blinked. (m/n) muttered under his breath for a few moments before looking back up at the pair of brothers. “Sorry, it’s just-” he broke off. “Anyway, tell Peter I was here looking for him, won’t you?” Iceland nodded. “Thanks. Tell him I’ll see him around.” With that, (m/n) stalked back down the pathway, Iceland and Norway watching him go.

“This has gotten out of hand.” Iceland noted after a moment. They turned back into the house.

-inside-

A knock on the door startled Peter out of his plans. “Doors open!” he called. Finland opened it.

“Peter, what have you been doing up here?”

“Oh, I’ve been inventing a brain-washing machine to turn me into a country!” he chirped, showing it to the small man. Finland sighed.

“This is starting to get out of hand, Peter.”

“What do you mean, mama?”Finland sighed at the name.

“Your friend (m/n) has come over four times in the past month, and you’ve been so focused on becoming a country you haven’t even noticed him.” Finland said.

“But-”

“H’ thinks y’ve chosen b’ing a c’ntry ‘ver him.” Sweden said from his position by the door. He walked in, standing next to Finland. “H’ just l’ft.” Peter stared up at his father figure.

“But, if I’m a country-” Peter started.

“If you’re a country, Peter, you won’t have any time for (m/n), and he’ll be even more upset.” Finland said gently. Peter’s eyes began to water.

“All I wanted was to be powerful.....” he murmured quietly.

“Peter, (m/n) won’t care if you’re a country, a micronation, or a city. He’s still a micronation himself, and as far as I know he doesn’t want to be a country, and where would be the fun in being a country without your friend?”

“You’re right!” Peter shouted. “I’ll go apologize to him right away!” His phone suddenly buzzed. “Huh?” He looked at the Sealand-flag cased object. “It’s from (m/n)!”

“What does it say?” Denmark asked. The three males in the room jumped and turned to see Iceland, Denmark, and Norway watching them.

“He wants me to meet him in the park by the swings.” Peter said after a second.

“‘ll dr’ve ‘ou.” Sweden said, standing up. Peter stood up with him.

“Let’s go!” Peter shouted, running down the stairs.

--in the park--

When Peter arrived, he saw (m/n) standing with someone who looked kind of familiar.

“Why is Kugelmugel here with (m/n)?” Peter wondered. “Hey, (m/n)!” He waved. (m/n) looked up.

“Good to know you’re not too busy becoming a country to talk to me.” (m/n) said with a slight scowl. Peter blinked. (m/n) wasn’t like this.

“What’s up?” (m/n) scoffed.

“You’ve been ignoring me for a month, and all you can say is ‘What’s up?’” (m/n) demanded. Kugelmugel nodded in agreement.

“Sorry, (m/n), it’s just-”

“‘Just’ nothing!” snapped (m/n). “You ignored me in favor of becoming more powerful!” Peter opened his mouth to explain, but (m/n) shouted over him. “HOW IS OUR FRIENDSHIP LESS IMPORTANT THAN BECOMING A STUPID COUNTRY, HUH? EXPLAIN THAT TO ME!” Kugelmugel watched Peter try to get a word in edgewise, before Kugelmugel finally calmed the youngest boy down.

“I zink he is trying to get a vord in, little bruder.” Kugelmugel said calmly. Oh yeah, Peter had forgotten Kugelmugel and (m/n) were both owned by Austria. (m/n) stopped, panting and staring hard at Peter.

“Look, (m/n), I thought that becoming a country would mean that we could be stronger and defend ourselves and we could both be awesomer then everyone in the world, and create the strongest alliance ever and then defeat Russia and America and China and everyone.” Peter said. “And I didn’t realize you didn’t want to become a country, and then I didn’t know that you had come over four times and I hadn’t been there and I’m really really sorry okay!?” Oops. He hadn’t meant to be shouting the ending. (m/n) looked at him for a moment, then at Kugelmugel, who shrugged. (m/n) looked back at Peter, looking slightly shy.

“Do you mean it?”

“Mean what?”

“You’re really sorry?”

“Duh! I mean, you are my best friend, at least I think we still are!” Peter said cheerfully. (m/n) hesitated, before throwing his arms around him and hugging Peter, who blushed.

“I forgive you, but don’t do it again!” Kugelmugel glared at Peter for a moment before giving him the universal ‘I’m watching you’ sign.

“I promise, I won’t! Never ever ever!” Peter shouted, hugging his friend back. “Not even when we’re countries!”
I was in the mood for some fluffyness.
